Yazaki Names Colleen Haley Vice President of Purchasing

CANTON, Mich., June 10 -- Yazaki North America, Inc a leading supplier of vehicle power and data solutions to the automotive industry, has named Colleen Haley to vice president, purchasing from vice president, human resources and general affairs. George R. Perry, president and COO of Yazaki North America made the announcement.

In her new position, Haley will lead development of global purchasing strategy for the procurement of materials and services along with her counterparts in Europe and Asia. She will also oversee supplier performance related to Yazaki cost, quality and delivery standards and champion diversity sourcing efforts. Haley has been with Yazaki for two years and is one of the highest-ranking women executives in the corporation. Haley will report directly to Fritz Massouh, executive vice president of Operations.

Haley earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's degree in labor & industrial relations, both from Michigan State University. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management, Women's Economic Club, Canton Community Foundation Board, University of Michigan - Dearborn campus Dean's Advisory Board and the Michigan Chamber of Commerce.
