Fast & Fabulous: StreetGlow Lights Up The New York International Auto Show

NEW YORK, April 3 -- StreetGlow, Inc., the leader in auto-neon and performance lighting, is a sponsoring an outdoor neon vehicle ``Glow-Off'' at the New York International Auto Show on Thursday April 4, 2002 from 6pm until 9:30pm. The event will represent the ``Y'' generation (16 to 24 years of age) culture and their cars -- sport compact performance vehicles and the very popular ``tuner'' market.

``The Glow-off will feature 'tricked-out' sport compact performance vehicles from companies such as Sony, Blaupunkt and Subaru, and a few awesome trucks, said Steven Hamilton, StreetGlow's director of marketing. ''Sony will feature its amazing Orange Ford Focus fully equipped with the Sony Xplod line. Blaupunkt will have two insane Volkswagens, a Beetle and Rabbit. And if those aren't enough, keep an eye out, or should I say 'ear' out, for Balupunkt's blue & silver Smart Car, which features StreetGlow neon integrated into each custom installed amplifier,`` Hamilton added.

Also at the event will be two brand new Subarus, a 2002 WRX and a 2002 Legacy Wagon, built by Vitek Performance for Subaru Corporate as demo vehicles. Come see some mind-blowing project vehicles from Fox Marketing, such as their Orange Saturn Sc, Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder, Honda S2000 and more. New York's own custom paint and body shop, Nub Grafix, located in Walden New York, will be featuring some of their latest work, a Volkswagen GTI, a Honda Del Sol and an amazing Black Hummer.

A few import trucks in all their glory, including a 2002 Nissan Frontier, displaying its patriotism with a custom installed LED portrait of the New York City skyline, prior to 9/11, will also be featured at the Glow-off. Stand back while the bed of the Gray Toyota pick-up motorizes upward while its neon flashes and shines.

The event will also include a performance by Myndy K and DJ George Calle from Extreme records. Be sure to catch Myndy K, live on stage at 7:30pm, performing her top 15 Billboard hit ``Moments'' produced by Johnny Vicious on Groovilicious /Strictly Rhythm Records. Known for having one of the most visually stimulating and interactive shows, matched with an uncanny ability to connect with here audience, Myndy K has gained respect in the dance music community not only as a vocalist but as a true performance artist.
