Saturn Invites Young New Yorkers to Celebration for ION Launch

NEW YORK--April 2, 2002--Tonight, over 1,000 young New Yorkers are expected to attend a Saturn-sponsored ION launch party at The World, a nightclub located in historic Times Square.
YouthStream Media Networks will produce the event.
Party attendees and the public can get their first look at the Saturn ION sedan and quad coupe while on display in front of The World on April 2. Blending innovative thinking, segment-leading features and unprecedented personalization opportunities, the all-new 2003 Saturn ION sedan and quad coupe deliver excitement and value uniquely tuned to the needs of young small-car buyers.
At the party, attendees will dance to the tunes of celebrity DJs Beverly Bond and D:Fuse, while video monitors play cutting-edge visuals of the new ION in motion. The ION sedans and coupes will also be visible throughout the club in custom-made backdrops, barware and staff clothing.
"This high-profile New York launch party will help the ION make an immediate and powerful impact and will draw young car buyers to Saturn's all-new products," said Matt Armstrong, ION marketing manager.
"We're very pleased to help Saturn debut the ION to this powerful market," said Dennis Roche, YouthStream's chief operating officer. "This party is a great example of Saturn's commitment to younger consumers."
