Honda Japan Recalls LAGREAT Mini-Van

TOKYO — Honda Motor Co said Friday its Canadian subsidiary, Honda Canada Inc, is recalling 1,016 units of its imported Lagreat minivan for free repairs due to defects in their engine system.

According to a report submitted by Honda Motor to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, electric wires were not set properly in the engines of some Lagreats, causing some cars to break down if vibrations cause the wires to short circuit. (Kyodo News
