Subaru of America and Swix Sport USA Announce Preview Events

CHERRY HILL, N.J., March 8 -- Swix Sport USA (SWIX) and Subaru of America Inc. (Subaru) today announced they will partner this season for a series of ``March Madness'' promotional events and preview of the new Subaru/Swix Technical Force (SSTF) program that will begin in November 2002. The SSTF will unveil the new program at events nationwide including alpine, snowboard and cross-country venues, educating skiers and snowboarders on program offerings for next season. As part of the promotion, Subaru has been named the ``Official Vehicle'' of the Subaru/Swix Technical Force Team and Swix Sport U.S.A, Inc.

Special preview events for 2002 include:

Nordic: Subaru National Masters Championships March 11-17 Tahoe City, CA and Soda Springs, CA

Snowboard: US Open Snowboarding Championships March 14-17 Stratton Mountain, Vermont

Alpine: USSA Alpine Masters National Championships March 31-April 6 Winter Park, CO

The SSTF will be outfitted with the latest Subaru Outback Wagons and will drive these vehicles to the events. Subaru/Swix tents will be set up at selected events and staffed by Swix trained technical support personnel. The technicians will prepare Swix waxing recommendations for the competitors and provide advice and support for preparation of skis and snowboards. The SSTF will offer consumers promotional material at the events with general product information and educational materials regarding Subaru cars and Swix products.
