Penske Auto Centers Recognized By AAA Michigan as 'Approved Auto Care Facilities'

TROY, Mich., Feb. 26 -- Penske Auto Centers announced today that its Michigan auto centers have been recognized by AAA Michigan as ``Approved Auto Care Facilities.'' AAA Michigan currently refers AAA members to the nearest Approved Auto Care Facility for high quality service. In addition, Penske Auto Centers offers AAA Michigan members the opportunity to take advantage of the ``Show Your Card and Save Program'' and receive a 10 percent discount on services.

In order to participate in the Approved Auto Care program, each facility must undergo a rigorous evaluation process administered by AAA. The evaluation process includes criteria such as:

High standards for customer service Facility Appearance - Cleanliness Staff Qualifications and Training Company Reputation and Background Checks Scope of Service and Equipment AAA Michigan annually surveys each facility's past customers on their experience -- the facility must achieve 90 percent or higher in each rating category. Another key element of the evaluation process is the facility's ability to provide a number of service guarantees such as free maintenance inspections in conjunction with any service, written estimates, 12- month/12,000 mile warranties and return of parts.
