Teleflex Declares Dividend

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa.--Feb. 5, 2002--Teleflex Incorporated announced that its Board of Directors took action on February 4, 2002, to declare a cash dividend of seventeen cents ($0.17) per share of common stock. The dividend is payable March 15, 2002, to shareholders of record at the close of business on February 25, 2002.

Teleflex has increased its cash dividend to shareholders in each of the 24 years since it began paying dividends in 1977.
