Woman Motorist Unveils 2001 Readers' Choice Award Winners

Woman Motorist Internet Magazine Announces Winners
of the WomanMotorist.com 2001 Readers' Choice Awards

(Los Angeles, CA) - Woman Motorist, the premier consumer automotive magazine online for women,
has completed its first annual Readers' Choice Awards. WomanMotorist.com, with an annual
readership of nearly 2.5 million individuals in 2001, found the balloting represented a good cross
section of domestic buyers' vehicle preferences. Internet ballots were received from many thousands
of readers, both from the U.S. and other countries.

This is the only known national award that is based on unrestricted input from any member of the
buying public rather than just editors, writers or industry insiders. No special pressure; no contrived
assembly of voters; no limited subscriber group; no purchase needed; no box tops!

WomanMotorist.com readers voted for their favorite vehicles in 14 categories that included all
products on sale prior to October 1, 2001. These reflected the major vehicle categories important
to the buying public rather than just new models the public has little exposure to, or other
artificial groupings of vehicles.

The 2001 WomanMotorist.com Readers' Choice Awards winners are:

1. Economy/Compact Sedans: Honda Civic
2. Small/Midsize Sedans: Chrysler Sebring
3. Full Size Sedans: Toyota Avalon
4. Near Luxury Sedans: Lexus ES 300
5. Luxury Sedans: Lexus LS 430
6. Sports Coupes/Sedans: Jaguar S-Type
7. Sporty Cars: Mercedes-Benz SL-Class
8. Compact Sport Utility Vehicles: Nissan Xterra
9. Midsize Sport Utility Vehicles: Ford Explorer
10. Full Size/Luxury Sport Utility Vehicles: Cadillac Escalade
11. Minivans/Vans: Honda Odyssey
12. Pickup Trucks: Dodge Ram
13. Crossover Vehicles: Chrysler PT Cruiser
14. Eco Cars: Toyota Prius

The only exception to the general public voting process is one special award that the
WomanMotorist.com Editor-in-Chief, Content Editor, Contributing Editors and Journalists
voted on.

This singular honor is given to a vehicle that we, as automotive industry professionals, believe
should be on the shopping list of most mainstream new car intenders.

15. 2001 WomanMotorist.com Must Consider Editors' Choice Award for Versatility,
    Value, Innovation: Audi A4

The winning corporations have been awarded unique crystal trophies emblematic of their
achievement. For a full listing of the vehicles in each category and a photograph of the trophy,

Woman Motorist looks for this to become an annual event enabling the buying public to
register their opinions and perhaps influence the auto industry. The Internet provides a unique
means for this type of information to be conveyed and exchanged.

As an incentive to the voters, Woman Motorist entered every person completing the poll into
a drawing to win one of a pool of prizes. Goodyear, Bridgestone/Firestone, Saturn, Mr. Shine,
Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Chevrolet, Isuzu, Ford, Jeep, GMC, Audi, Mitsubishi, Buick, BMW,
Kia, Hummer, Volvo, Mazda, Volkswagen, Jaguar, Saab, Hyundai and Suzuki provided
products and corporate mementos for the drawing. They are being distributed to dozens
of the public who shared their opinions.

The WomanMotorist.com staff is extremely appreciative and thanks those companies whose
advice, time spent in reviewing the ballot format, and generous contributions to the voters all
helped make this event a resounding success.

WomanMotorist.com is a 7 year old Internet based automotive magazine for women. The
publication reached nearly 2.5 million individual readers in 2001. It is published daily.
WomanMotorist.com is a wholly owned subsidiary of CyberAd Media, Inc. based in Ventura,
California.
