DeMattia Provides a Harley-Davidson to the Franklin/Bingham Police

    PLYMOUTH, Mich.--Oct. 10, 2001--DeMattia Group, one of the Midwest's leading real estate development and design/build firms, has through its affiliate Motown Harley-Davidson, provided the Franklin/Bingham Police Department with its first motorcycle for use in traffic safety.
    Franklin resident and DeMattia Group Executive Vice President, Gary D. Roberts presented the black 2002 Harley-Davidson Road King, outfitted with special police package, to Chief Edward Glomb and Officer Brian Crane.
    "The Franklin/Bingham Police Department is extremely appreciative of the DeMattia Group for their efforts in providing this equipment, said Glomb. "I am confident that it will enhance the department's traffic safety monitoring capabilities and community relations."
    Roberts said, "He is pleased that the DeMattia Group was in a position to make this donation, which is in line with the firm's commitment to community service."
    Crane, the department motorcycle traffic safety officer, has already completed advanced training in the use of police motorcycle technique.
