Payless Rental Expanding International Franchises with Krakow, Poland

    ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--Oct. 9, 2001--Payless Car Rental System, Inc. continues its aggressive international expansion with the opening of a franchise in Krakow, Poland. The opening is part of Payless Car Rental's development plan to double the number of worldwide locations by 2003.
    The franchise is located at the Krakow-Balice John Paul II International Airport. "The city is also a popular tourist destination."
    The franchise is Payless Car Rental's second to open in Poland with the first franchise located in the Warszawa-Okecie Airport in Warsaw.
