MADISON HEIGHTS, MI – Hidden Hitch has added two new brake controller install kits to its comprehensive line of hitches and towing accessories.

If your trailer comes equipped with electric brakes, it requires a brake controller to be installed in your tow vehicle, according to Peter Bell, marketing manager, Hidden Hitch.  

Installation of a Brake Control is fairly simple and these new kits provide everything required to perform an installation.  The new kit part # 39508 includes wiring for 2-4 wheel Brake Control Systems, as well as 25 feet of 10-2 duplex wire a 20-amp circuit breaker and attaching terminals.  Part #39509 is designed for 4-6 wheel Brake Control Systems, and comes with a 30-amp circuit breaker as well as the wire and attaching terminals.

Bell added that some vehicles make installation especially easy by supplying OEM connectors under the dash.  Hidden Hitch also offers inexpensive adapters to connect Brake Controllers on late model Ford and Dodge trucks.
