Budget Has Cars Available to Help America Get Going Again

LISLE, Ill., Sept. 16 In response to the shift in rental
business as travelers choose rental cars as an alternative means of
transportation, Budget Rent a Car will begin offering rates as low as $19.99
per day at its nearly 750 corporate-owned downtown and suburban locations
across the nation. Budget expects that as the public returns to work on
Monday, they may be rethinking travel plans to respond to long delays at
airports, fewer available flights or even temporary company mandated air
travel bans. Renting a car offers a convenient alternative in these
situations, and Budget has vehicles available across the country to meet this
change in how America travels.

"Since Tuesday's national tragedy, we've talked to tens of thousands of
travelers and helped them make their way home by allowing our cars to go
one-way just about anywhere in the U.S. We're moving more of our fleet to our
local market stores to lessen congestion and confusion at the airports and
lowering rates to help local residents and businesses get going again," stated
Mark Sotir, Budget Group president and chief operating officer.

Effective noon Monday eastern time, September 17, a Ford Ranger Pick-Up
from participating downtown and suburban Budget locations will cost just
$19.99 per day or $99.99 per week, with unlimited mileage. Intermediate and
full-size cars are available for $29.99 per day and $139.99 per week, and
sport utility vehicles are just $39.99 per day and $179.99 per week, all with
unlimited mileage. Budget will require only a one-hour advance reservation to
receive these special rates.

Travelers can also rent vehicles one-way for as low $49.99 per day with
unlimited mileage and no drop fees. This offer is available on economy
through full-size cars or the Ford Ranger for pick-up through September 21.
One-way cars are available at airport and neighborhood Budget locations for
rentals between participating locations in 45 metropolitan areas including,
Los Angeles, Washington DC, Boston, Chicago, Dallas and Seattle, and many
more.

availability. Rates may not be combined with any other promotional offer.
Taxes, surcharges, refueling and optional items are extra. Local rental and
age requirements apply.
