Visteon Contributes Systems Integration Technology to New Ford Fiesta

    FRANKFURT, Germany, Sept. 12 With its systems integration,
advanced product development, and manufacturing expertise, Visteon Corporation
continues to deliver world-class automotive products and systems to
its global customers.
    
    Visteon is supplying over 50 systems and components for the all-new 2002
Ford Fiesta, including the vehicle's audio system, instrument panel and
interior electronics, air handling system, fuel systems components and chassis
systems.  Additionally, Visteon was selected as the Front-End Module
integrator for the full vehicle line.

    Front-End Module and Climate Control

    Visteon has complete systems integration responsibility for the complete
Front-End Module which includes the powertrain cooling, air conditioning
condenser, bolster and lighting system, enabling the auto supplier to provide
a system that is efficient, effective and reliable.

    Powertrain

    Visteon's engineering expertise in powertrain systems integration provided
a wide range of advanced technology to provide drivers with reliable air fuel
management products.  From the Air Fuel Charge Assemblies, Electronic Throttle
Body, and fuel delivery module, Visteon is helping manufacturers like Ford of
Europe to provide consumers with improved fuel economy reduced emissions to
help create a cleaner environment.

    Chassis

    In an effort to provide customers with technology designed to create a
safe and more comfortable ride, Visteon applied its expertise in chassis
systems to design and manufacture the Fiesta's driveshaft system.  Visteon was
also sourced as the Steering Systems integrator, supplying HPAS technology
designed to reduce steering friction.

    Interior

    Visteon is a significant contributor to the Fiesta's distinct interior
from its instrument panel and center console, to its state-of-the-art audio
system and advanced electronics.  Visteon's expertise in interior security
electronics provides the new Fiesta with an advanced anti-theft system, and is
the complete systems integrator for the audio system.

the-art audio system and advanced electronics.  Visteon's expertise in
interior security electronics provides the new Fiesta with an advanced anti-
