Lexus Announces Price for 2002 LX 470


     TORRANCE, Calif., Sept. 10, 2001 Lexus announced today the price for

the 2002 LX 470 premium luxury sport utility vehicle will remain flat with

a Manufacturer(Bs Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $61,855.

     Additionally for 2002, the DVD-based Lexus Navigation System is now

standard equipment.  The upgraded system has an expanded database, now

includes Canada and can communicate to the user in both English and French.

The new, faster computer can calculate routes twice as fast as the previous

system, an average of five seconds compared to the previous 11.

     With the navigation system standard, there are only two factory

options for the LX 470: chrome wheels with an MSRP of $1,300 and the Mark

Levinson premium audio system with an MSRP of $1,280.  The processing,

handling and delivery fee increases from $545 to $575 for 2002.
