Lexus Named Official Automotive Sponsor of Chicago Symphony Orchestra

    CHICAGO, Sept. 5 The Chicago Symphony Orchestra today
announced that Lexus will be a leading corporate sponsor of their 2001 - 2002
season.

    "We are thrilled to have Lexus as the official automotive sponsor of the
Chicago Symphony Orchestra for the 2001 - 2002 season," said Henry Fogel,
President, Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association.  "We look forward to a
successful partnership and thank Lexus for its generous support."

    Lexus will serve as the "Official Car" for the season, which begins with
the opening night performance on September 21 conducted by CSO Musical
Director Daniel Barenboim and featuring world-renowned violinist Maxim
Vengrov.

    "Our support of the prestigious Chicago Symphony Orchestra is a great
match for Lexus," said Jim Farley, General Manager for the Lexus Central Area.
"We're delighted to share their passion for providing the gift of music to the
people of Chicago."

    Lexus will display the all-new 2002 Lexus ES 300 and other Lexus models on
opening night and at other selected performances during the year.  Among the
available features in the Lexus ES 300 is the sophisticated Mark Levinson
audio system which features discrete amplifier design with ultra-low crossover
distortion.
