Louisville Buses to Undergo Regular Emissions Testing and Evaluation

RADCLIFFE, Iowa, Aug. 23 In an effort to maintain the
improved emissions and fuel savings of its fleet, the Transit Authority of
River City (TARC) in Louisville, Ky., will enter into a service agreement with
Mirenco Incorporated that calls for regular testing and reporting services for
its buses.

    TARC currently uses Mirenco's DriverMax(R), a fuel-saving and
emissions-control device that helped the fleet eliminate 11,000 pounds of
pollution while saving 43,000 gallons in one year. Under the agreement,
Mirenco will test emissions on 130 buses and reprogram, as needed, the
95 DriverMax-installed buses three times over the next 12 months.

"This is a logical next step in our effort to reduce bus pollution and
save fuel," said J. Barry Barker, TARC executive director. "The on-site
service plan gives us a cost-effective way to accomplish our environmental
goals."

The on-site testing services will be provided by Mirenco's Louisville,
Kentucky-based service center, Diesel Injection Services Co., and Mirenco will
provide their proprietary analysis and reporting through data interchange over
the Internet.

"We are pleased to be an integral part of TARC's effort to cut pollution
in Louisville and save fuel by keeping the their fleet clean and efficient,"
said Dwayne Fosseen, chairman & CEO of Mirenco. "Our reports help TARC more
efficiently manage their maintenance operation by providing a clear snapshot
of which vehicles require what maintenance and when. And, by outsourcing the
actual on-site testing and service to a local company, we provide a unique
solution effectively, efficiently and economically."

Mirenco intends to replicate the sales and service model built in
Louisville across the country. Their on-site customer service center partner,
Diesel Injector Services Co., operates five offices around the country, each
capable of executing the services now being contracted for in Louisville.
Recognizing the benefits of outsourcing the on-site testing services, Mr.
Fosseen added, "The model built in Louisville works. Everyone benefits
environmentally and economically. We believe other reputable diesel service
companies will be eager to get in on this opportunity, and we're ready to
deliver our technology and services to their local customers."
