Arnold Transportation Wins Top Safety Award

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--June 7, 2001--Arnold Transportation Services, an operating unit of Arnold Industries, Inc. , has received the top safety award for the year 2000 from the Georgia Motor Trucking Association for truckload carriers with over 20 million miles.
    The award, sponsored annually by Trailmobile, recognizes those carriers with the lowest frequency of accidents for miles driven within the state of Georgia.
    "This award is a tribute to the drivers and supervisors at Arnold Transportation who conscientiously and professionally perform their duties. The safety of our employees, fellow highway motorists and our customers' cargo is a top priority at our company," said Arnold Transportation Vice President of Safety and Equipment, Mike Gregerson.
