    LISLE, Ill., May 2 Budget Rent a Car Corporation is
offering extraordinary rates for as low as $9.99 per day for a weekend rental
after a rebate only found on Budget.com.  The promotion is available at select
airport locations and applies to reservations made from May 3-18, with June 17
as the last weekend of rental.
    Customers who visit Budget.com can view the offer on the homepage, click
through to obtain a rebate form and book right online.  The offer is available
for economy-class vehicles and Ford Ranger pickups.  As usual, members of
Perfect Drive, Budget's customer loyalty points program, will receive double
points for the rental.  National print and Internet banner advertising will
support the promotion.
    To obtain the rebate, customers must submit a completed copy of the rebate
form found at http://www.budget.com as well as the original receipt or rental
agreement to 6251 Chancellor Dr., Attn. Credit Card Operations, Orlando, FL
32809.  Rebate forms must be submitted no later than 30 days after completion
date of the rental.  Rebate will be credited to customer's credit card within
4-6 weeks of receipt of forms.  Actual rate reserved is $24.99/day, with a
minimum two-day rental.  With rebate of $15.00/day, the rate is $9.99/day.
Maximum rebate of $45.00.
    Optional LDW not to exceed $20.99 per day.  Check your automobile
insurance policy for rental vehicle coverage.  Offer requires a two-day
minimum rental with pick-up beginning after noon on Thursday and return by
midnight on Monday.  Blackout dates apply.  Subject to vehicle and rate
availability.  Rates may not be combined with any other offer.  Taxes,
surcharges, refueling and optional items are extra.  Airport concession fee of
approximately 10% may be avoided at some locations by not using our shuttle
