CYPRESS, Calif.--April 25, 2001--Once again Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, Inc. is demonstrating the spirit of its brand theme "wake up and drive(TM)" by being the first to offer an SUV with a high performance mountain bike compacted neatly inside the cargo area -- leaving plenty of room on the roof for other active lifestyle gear.Mitsubishi Motors teamed up with Montague Corporation to provide Montague's patented X-Series(TM) mountain bike, for a limited period of time, with every 2001 Montero Sport.
Montague, the world leader in full-size, high performance foldable mountain bikes produced this special edition compacting mountain bike powered by next generation folding technology exclusively for Mitsubishi and the Montero Sport. The bike has a recommended retail price of $899, but is included with the purchase or lease of a Montero Sport.
