Nevada AAA: Round Up, Remove and Recycle Old Car Batteries -- Toxic Hazards to Your Environment

WHO: AAA Nevada

WHAT: To commemorate Earth Day, April 22, AAA Nevada is launching the
      first annual "AAA Great Battery Roundup," a weeklong nationwide
      community effort to recycle hazardous old car and boat batteries.
      AAA is donating up to $4 per battery to The Nature Conservancy.

WHEN: Monday, April 16 through Sunday, April 22 (Earth Day) The
      public is encouraged to bring in old batteries to selected AAA
      sites for recycling.

WHERE:  Las Vegas: Auto Guardian, 3550 East Post Road, Ste. 700. 
        (Sunset at Pecos)
 
        Reno:  Auto Guardian, 1036 Greg St., (east of Rock Blvd.)

        Mon. to Fri., 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sat.: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.;
        Sun.: Battery recycle drop-off box is available

        Francisco, Oakland, Santa Clara and other cities
        across the U.S.
