You’re driving down the coast in your PT Cruiser that Motor Trend has called the 2001 Car of the Year. The Beach Boys are blaring on the radio, the sun shining bright outside. If only you could feel the breeze blowing through your hair.

Hold that thought!

The Chrysler Group will unveil a Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible styling study at the 2001 New York International Auto Show. The press conference is scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, 10 a.m. in the Chrysler stand at the Jacob Javits Center.

The Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible follows the tradition of the Chrysler PT Cruiser and PT Panel Cruiser styling studies, showing yet another personality for the popular Chrysler PT Cruiser. Once again, DaimlerChrysler demonstrates the tremendous potential of PT Cruiser. Lower, sleeker with even more attitude, the PT Cruiser Convertible styling study is the latest example of the sort of fun the car company is having with PT Cruiser.

And there is more to come.
