TOLEDO, OHIO, 3-16-01 - Officials of ARCA, along with the Damon Corporation, have announced a three-year agreement in which Damon RV will be the Official Motorhome of ARCA beginning with the 2001 season.

“We’re definitely going down the road in style,” said ARCA Marketing Director Jim Clarke. “And that’s important when you consider how much ‘going down the road’ we do at ARCA. Damon RV is a quality RV builder with first-class RV products, and is currently providing ARCA with their top-of-the-line, luxurious 39-ft. diesel Escaper motorhome, not only as a means of transportation to and from the tracks, but as a meeting place and office as well as a hospitality area for our guests and sponsors. I can assure you, it’s one fine piece of equipment complete with all the comforts of home.”

Damon RV, based in Elkhart, Indiana, offers a full-line of motorhomes as well as Breckenridge Park Models.

“Like everyone else who is out there marketing their products, we’re constantly looking for the best ways to accomplish our sales goals,” said Vice President of Sales & Marketing David Miller. “ARCA is always on the move heading up and down the road so it’s really the perfect opportunity to get our name out there. ARCA is, not only well known in the motorsports community, but very well respected. For us, our association with ARCA is the perfect fit.”

In addition, the ARCA RE/MAX Series champion as well as the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series champion will receive a $1,000 bonus each as expenses towards a two-week vacation in a Damon motorhome.
