The Favorite Cars of February 2001
PALO ALTO, Calif.--March 12, 2001-- InvoiceDealers, The Leader in Automotive Comparison Shopping, released the favorite cars, trucks, SUVs and minivans of online comparison shoppers in February 2001.February 2001 Results
The Honda Accord unseated the Ford F-Series for the first time as the most requested vehicle overall. The Accord continued its dominance of Cars, while the Volkswagen Jetta upset the Toyota Camry from third place.
The Chevrolet Tahoe claimed first place for the first time in SUVs, the most competitive and volatile category. The Ford Escape fell from first to third, after dethroning the 2000 favorite Ford Explorer in January.
The Ford F-Series continued its yearlong dominance of Trucks. The GMC Sierra Classic returned to the top ten after a three-month absence.
The Honda Odyssey continued as the favorite Minivan, with the Toyota Sienna and Dodge Grand Caravan again placing second and third respectively.
