NASCAR WCUP: True Value IROC Mourns Loss of Champion

Tinton Falls, NJ - Regarding the loss of 2000 IROC Champion, Dale Earnhardt in yesterday's Daytona 500, series President Jay Signore said, "There are no words to express the extreme sense of loss we are all feeling now. Dale's greatness as a champion speaks for itself. The significant loss is of the man himself; we've lost a dear friend."

"On behalf of the series' founders Roger Penske, Les Richter, and the entire team, our condolences to Theresa, Kelly King, Dale Jr., Kerry and Taylor Nicole, as well as to all those at Dale Earnhardt Incorporated and the Richard Childress organization."
