NHRA: Official Statement from NHRA regarding Earnhardt death

CHANDLER, Ariz. (Feb. 18, 2001) - The entire NHRA family is saddened by the unfortunate tragedy that took place this afternoon in Daytona.Dale was an ambassador for all of motorsports and will be truly missed. The NHRA extends it thoughts and prayers to the Earnhardt family and the entire NASCAR community.
