Dollar Rent A Car Joins Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan Program

    TULSA, Okla., May 1 Dollar Rent A Car and Alaska
Airlines/Horizon Air have formed a Preferred Marketing Partnership Agreement,
effective today May 1, 2000.
    "Dollar Rent A Car is pleased to participate in the Alaska Airlines
Mileage Plan -- one of the nation's top frequent flyer programs," Tim Halden,
Dollar Rent A Car director, partnership marketing, said.  "Mileage Plan
members who now travel for business or pleasure to destinations in the U.S.,
Canada and Mexico will experience the on-airport convenience, low rates and
quality DaimlerChrysler cars Dollar offers."
    Members of the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan frequent traveler program will
be eligible to earn 50 miles per rental day at participating DOLLAR(R)
locations worldwide.  To celebrate this new relationship, Mileage Plan members
will receive double miles (100 miles a day) through August 31, 2000, when
renting a compact car or larger with a minimum rental of one day.*
