If you change your oil, please follow these United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines for disposal:
- Place the used oil in a closed container.
- Take it to a service station or other collection location that recycles used oil.
- Don't dump used oil in the trash the sewer, the storm drain, or on the ground.
- Don't burn used oil in space heaters.
- Don't mix with other substances, such as gasoline, paint strippers, or pesticides.
