Great to know you are working on creating a successful Web business. If you
want you can take a free Web-based training class that I gave in Atlanta.
It has some good information and it is free. Just go to TargetLive.com then
go to "Tell Me More" section, follow the "Next" arrows
and run our wizard. It will automatically configure your computer so you can
view the class. Then just click on the link for the class and get some useful
training information for free. If you need more, you can register on the Web
site and go to our resource library which has links to hundreds of e-commerce
articles. If you need even more help, feel free to call our office and ask
for me personally.

My name is Brent Poling and I recently started
selling autos online. I saw your ad in the DEALER magazine and would like
some advice if you have time.
The marketing program from aweber.com is an excellent tool that I think would
help my closing ratio immeasurable. However, my General Sales Manager doesn't
agree with the idea. I get about 30 leads a month and I sell about six cars
a month off the Internet. I am confident that this program would be very helpful.
If you have any thoughts on how to persuade GMs, I am all ears!

It sounds like you are off to a good start. As you know, aweber.com is only
$20.00 per month, which will handle all your lead follow-up. I think I would
ask your dealer one simple question, "Do you drink coffee? Well, for
less than a cup of coffee per day I will follow-up effectively and efficiently
on all my unsold prospects each and every month. Wouldn't you like me to sell
more cars, Mr. General Sales Manager? Well, if we can reduce your coffee intake
by just one cup per day we can begin to sell more cars. And if you need a
guarantee, then if after 90 days you are not thrilled with the results, you
can cancel the program and go back to that extra cup of joe." To be honest,
Brent, if you have to spend the $20.00 yourself, it is worth it.
