Dear Mike Roscoe: I have worked in the auto industry for more than I would like to admit (over 30 years). I have witnessed dealers face many battles of change and challenge. I am always amazed and inspired by this group of people who overcome and adapt to so many battlefronts. So how does this group continue day after day to face all of these battles? There seems to be a certain type of person who "loves" this business. Once it gets hold of them they can not escape so they pick up their shield and sword and say, "Bring it on." "Give me your best shot." "I have only just begun to fight." Each day presents new challenges, unique opportunities and special rewards. Rewards? Yes, it seems that these people find pleasure in this business amidst all the challenges. Their drive comes from deep inside and their love for this crazy business keeps themnot only standing their ground but advancing and conquering. They continually search their hearts and find the courage and love to face each new day. Thank you for your publication. It helps these brave people know that they are not alone in the battle. I am withholding my name, for I do not write to you to bring attention to myself, but to commend those who your magazine is dedicated to. Name withheld upon request

Mike Roscoe: I always put it aside for a Saturday when I can sit down quietly for an hour or two and really concentrate on it. I read every page faithfully. It is without a doubt the BEST automotive magazine and source of information and ideas on the market. No other publication is even close! Compared to everyone else, it is like a great college text book versus People Magazine. Keep up the good work!! John Anderson |
