How would you feel if, after your best Saturday ever, you bested those numbers the following Monday? Then you know how I felt after we closed this issue. Although our February '98 NADA Convention issue generated more revenue than any previous issue (no surprise there), this March/April '98 issue which you are now reading actually generated more! But I know we couldn't have done it without you. You just keep reading. We'll keep improving the best read, most useful automobile dealer magazine in America (and we've got the survey that proves it).
One improvement that you'll notice this issue is that we have started placing photographs of our industry experts with their articles, so you can put a face with the name. We have also placed the appropriate department name (advertising, fixed operations, etc.) with each article. Now, with a glance at the top of the page, you'll see the department and title of the article as well as the author. This will enable you to instantly decide your interest in that particular piece, thus allowing even more time for you to look at the advertisements of our SPONSORS. Please don't ever forget, without them, there would be no Automobile Dealer magazine.
Speaking of sponsors, the book accompanying this issue, The 1998 NADA Exhibition Dealer Resource Guide, is sponsored by every company which took out a full-page ad in the guide. The purpose of this guide is to give a categorized listing of the companies which exhibited in New Orleans to the 80-90% of the dealers who didn't attend. If you like it (and use it), we'll do it again next year.
