A CENTURY IN 65 FEET


           Muralist John Gable, a former General Motors designer, has painted the largest piece of automotive fine art since the Detroit Institute of Arts' Diego Rivera paintings for the new Automotive Hall of Fame, which officially opens August 16. The 12-feet high, 65-feet long mural contains nearly 100 scenes associated with the last century of motoring and the global motor vehicle industry's impact on the lives and lifestyles of humankind. The new home of the Automotive Hall of Fame is in Dearborn, Michigan, next door to Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village.
