Boat Insurance Discounts
The following Boat Insurance discounts
are subject to availability and qualifications. Other terms, conditions
and exclusions may apply. Check with an Allstate agent to see if you
qualify for any of the following discounts:
- Diesel Engine Discount
A discount is available for Physical Damage Coverage if your boat
is operated by a diesel engine.
- Protective Device Discount
A discount is available for Physical Damage Coverage if your
boat has one or more of the required protective devices (such
as an automatic fire extinguishing system).
- Boating Education Discount
A discount is available on Liability, Medical, and Physical Damage
Coverages if the insured has completed one of the listed and
approved boating education courses given by a listed
organization (such as the U.S. Coast Guard or U.S. Power
Squadron).
- Boat and Auto Discount
This discount is available to any Allstate boat policyholder that
also has their private passenger automobile insurance written
with Allstate. Both the boat policy and the auto policy must be
written in the same state. Specifically, the discount applies
to the boat Liability, Medical, and Physical Damage
Coverages.*
- New Boat Discount
A discount of up to 40% may be applied to your boat Physical
Damage Coverage if the boat is less than 11 years of age. The
newer the boat, the greater the discount. Age of the boat is
determined by model year.*
*Available in AZ, CA, CT, FL, IL, OH, MD, MI, TX, UT, WI,
VA. These programs will be introduced in other states,
