AUTO CENTRAL; October 28, 1999 – The long awaited first look at model year 2000 motorcycles will finally
come to end this Thanksgiving holiday weekend when the Cycle World 2000 International
Motorcycle Show cruises into the Long Beach Convention Center. And
The Auto Channel will once again provide complete
live TV-on-the-Net coverage of the exposition from Friday, November 26th through
Sunday, the 28th.
The Auto Channel’s broadcasts will allow Internet
users and motorcycle enthusiasts around the world to experience every aspect of
the event. In all, TACH will present 13
half-hour programs that feature interviews with representatives from the top
manufacturers. Each manufacturer will in turn unveil their next millenium
models for the global audience. The exhibitor list includes
Harley-Davidson, Ducati, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, BMW, Triumph, Suzuki, Victory,
Buell, Aprilia, Cagiva, Laverda, Moto Guzzi and ATK. Interviews with
motorcycle racing personalities and celebrities are also scheduled for each
broadcast. The shows will then be archived for continuous on-demand
access.
Returning this year is “Motorcycle Trivia Challenge”, TACH’s
highly successful TV-style game show that pits 2 contestants against
each other in an effort to win a bag-full of valuable prizes. Contestants
will be selected from the audience attending the exposition. The game
shows will also be broadcast live over the Internet and archived for continuous
access. Twelve episodes are planned during the 3 days.
All broadcasts will be staged at The Auto Channel
