Vibe has strong powertrains to match its athletic looks. A dual-overhead cam 1.8-liter I-4 engine in base models produces 130 horsepower and 125 lb.-ft. of torque.
The high-performance Vibe GT has a dual-overhead-cam 1.8-liter I-4 that produces 170 horsepower and 127 lb.-ft. of torque. The Vibe GT is capable of 0-60 mph times of slightly more than eight seconds. A six-speed manual is the only transmission available with the Vibe GT.
