New to the S-Class family is the S65 AMG, which blends the whisper-smooth luxury of the top Mercedes-Benz four-door sedan with the astonishing power of AMG’s six-liter twin-turbo V12 engine. The AMG engine produces 604 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, for 0-60 mph test track times of about 4.2 seconds.
The S65 AMG joins the S-Class sedan line, which includes the V6-powered S350 and three V8 models – the S430, S500 and S55 AMG – as well as one other V12-powered car, the S600. 4MATIC all-wheel drive is a no-cost option for the S430 and S500, and the AMG sport package can now also be ordered without charge on the rear-wheel drive S430 and S500.
