Project Management
- Responsible for management of multi-million dollar radar programs. Calculated funding
requirements, established time lines, identified resources, reported progress to customer.
- Coordinated services and gained cooperation from contractors and DOD employees.
- Created long-range, overall manufacturing plans, performed risk assessments, identified
critical paths and potential project delays, and developed alternative approaches.
- Consultant/Advisor to the LPD 17 Test Director: Identify, Validate, Verify modeling and simulation tools used for the program meet mission requirments. (LPD 17 is an ACAT I program, contract value approximately $600 million)
- Used IPT techniques and principles to decrease acquisition time.
Test and Evaluation
- Technical advisor to NAVSEA, AN/SPS-40E Radar: Reviewed, and witnessed all First Article Testing. Made technical recommendations to NAVSEA for accept/reject criteria. Teamed with prime contractor to resolve problems.
- AN/SPS-40E Manufacturing Project Manager: Created master test plan, included electrical and environmental test approach. Generated backup test plans to reduce program risk.
- AN/ALQ-184 Project Manager: Teamed with other professionals to establish acceptance test criteria for AN/ALQ-184 Microwave Devices (electrical and environmental). Generated all Test and Qualification procedures.
- Trained in current DoD requirements for T & E in the acquisition process (DAWIA certified, level II, Program Management). Also trained in ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) requirements.
Logistics
- As technical representative to NAVSEA, performed physical configuration audits and
functional configuration audits.
- Made technical recommendations to NAVSEA for implementation into major weapons
systems contracts.
- Extensive experience with life-cycle logistics elements of Demonstration/Validation,
Engineering and Manufacturing Development, Production and Deployment, Operations and
Support.
Combat Systems (Radar)
- Proven expertise making significant departures from previous radar manufacturing
approaches.
- Provide long-term technical guidance in the system acquisition process.
- Extensive experience with review, verification, proof testing of all technical documentation
including complete Level III drawing packages, provisioning data, training manuals and depot
manuals.
- Serve as Team Leader on radar system installations.
Communication
- Prepare and present briefings for team meetings and program reviews on a regular basis
- Write and edit news articles and editorials for daily publication.
- Conducted training sessions for members of the Saudi Arabian Navy concerning radar
maintenance and repair issues.

Manage solid state microwave projects. Project Leader for establishing NSWC Crane Division
as the certified depot for AN/SPS-40E and AN/ALQ-184 RF devices.
