CART: Greg Moore Captures Homestead Pole
HOMESTEAD, FL: Greg Moore has captured the pole for the opening round of the CART Fed-Ex Championship Series. Moore, from Canada, will be the youngest driver to start from the pole in a CART event. The 22 year old blistered the old track record with a speed of more that 217 mph. He was three miles an hour faster than the second fastest qualifier, Andre Ribero, driving for Roger Penske.
