WoO: World of Outlaws Cancels Dixie EventWOODSTOCK, GA - El Nino caught up with the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series in Georgia Saturday, so its first race at Dixie Speedway will have to wait until the 1999 season. World of Outlaws Series officials canceled the event when rain continued to fall on the semi-banked, 3/8-mile oval, making the track unsafe for racing. The series is scheduled to run $40,000 events at Pike County Speedway in Magnolia, MS, Friday and Battleground Speedway in Houston, TX, Saturday. WoO
