Trans Am: 4th Annual Dodge Dealer Grand Prix a "Tripleheader"LIME ROCK - Lime Rock Park, the track that pioneered the successful World Sports Car/GT/Trans-Am combination race weekend format in 1995, will again host a tripleheader for this year’s Memorial Day event, the Dodge Dealers Lime Rock Grand Prix. The WSC and GT races, to be sanctioned by Professional Sports Car Racing (PSR), and the NTB Trans-Am Series race, sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing, will headline the race weekend. Barber Dodge Pro Series, World Challenge and Neon Challenge rounds are the scheduled support races. Lime Rock Park owner Skip Barber said, "Ever since we made Memorial Day a tripleheader—this year will be the fourth—the fans have come. They clearly enjoy the good racing and variety of car categories." Ken Papa, Director of Motorsports for the New England Dodge Dealers Association, said, "The area Dodge dealers are quite happy with the format and the large crowds, and are very pleased to be affiliated with this annual sports car extravaganza."
