This is Katie. She attended her first Indy 500 this past year (1996) and really enjoyed it (her ticket is still hanging on her bedroom door). She has been going to qualifications for quite some time, but was never too interested in the race. When we took her this year..... It was like she had been going all along. She knows all the drivers (by sight) and was able to help other fans figure out "who was who" during the race. I guess she has been paying more attention that I had thought !!!
