This car is Jeff Gordon's and he is a WILD THING. He grew up most of his young life right here in Indiana (I guess that is why he is so popular around here). He is one of the hottest drivers on the NASCAR circuit. This "youngster" has done more in his brief NASCAR career than most drivers do in a lifetime. One of the most exciting driving battles I have ever witnessed was this year between Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt. It was after the season was over actually... at the exhibition race in Japan. Jeff and Dale fought for the last few laps.. bumping and blocking... It was a battle for second place as Rusty Wallace (who will never be the featured driver, by the way) had already "checked out" for the win. Jeff ended up third by inches with Dale finishing second. Maybe it just seemed more exciting because I knew that it was the last race I would see untill the Busch Clash in February !!! I hate winter...
