Volvo S60R
Based on Volvo’s P2 platform, which also forms the basis of the S80 luxury sedan and XC90 SUV, the S60 R is a performance oriented sport sedan powered by a 5-cylinder, 300 horsepower engine. Also standard are computer-controlled suspension and all-wheel drive. For those with greater load-carrying needs, the performance of an S60 R is also available in a station wagon, the V70 R.

Volvo S80
The S80 is Volvo’s flagship, and for 2004 receives more than 700 improvements, including optional all-wheel drive and the company’s driver-adjustable FOUR-C computer-controlled suspension. Engine choices include a 2.9-liter, 194 horsepower 6-cylinder, a 2.5-liter, turbocharged 5-cylinder and a 2.9-liter, twin-turbocharged 6-cylinder producing 268 horsepower.
