Ford Names Brian Kelley VP, Global Consumer Services

DEARBORN, Mich., March 9 Brian P. Kelley, largely credited
with Ford Motor Company's leadership in the e-business arena, has been named
vice president, Global Consumer Services.
As vice president of Ford Motor Company and president of
ConsumerConnect, Ford's e-business activity, Kelley was responsible for
developing and implementing e-business strategies.
Prior to joining Ford in 1999, Kelley was vice president and general
manager for sales and distribution with General Electric's Appliance Division.
"Brian brought a new perspective to Ford," said Jacques Nasser, president
and CEO. "Through his leadership, we're transforming into not only the
world's leading consumer company, but into the world's leading online consumer

customer."
Kelley will be responsible for Global Marketing, Automotive Consumer
Services Group, Dealer Development, Worldwide Direct Markets, Ford Racing
Technology, and ConsumerConnect.
Kelley will report to Nasser and his appointment is effective immediately.
"Brian's expertise in e-business, as well as his previous experience in
sales and marketing, is a great asset in his new role," Nasser said.
Kelley will continue to serve on the boards of directors of Covisint,
Wingcast and Percepta, all joint venture e-business companies that he helped
create and launch while president of ConsumerConnect. He also remains on the
board of advisers of Internet Capital Group.
Prior to General Electric, Kelley spent 10 years with Procter & Gamble,
serving in marketing and brand management positions.
Kelley, 40, is a 1983 graduate of Holy Cross College where he earned a
bachelor's degree in economics.
