MUSTANG ENTHUSIASTS CELEBRATE 35 YEARS OF MOTORING MAGIC
Concord, North Carolina - The 70,000 members of the Mustang Club of America invites auto enthusiasts in the North Carolina area to join them on Saturday April 17, at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. April 17 marks the 35th anniversary of the introduction of the Ford Mustang. Over 3500 classic Mustang cars will be on display as well as other Mustang memorabilia. The day will be highlighted by the unveiling of the special 35th edition Mustang and gives the public the first ever look at the hottest of ponies, the 2000 SVT Mustang Cobra R.
The Auto Channel spoke with Tom Scarpello, Ford Motor Company's Specialty Vehicle Marketing Manager about the launch weekend and the new 2000 SVT Mustang Cobra R.
