Strike Back at OPEC with Ethanol ... and Save Money, Too!

Every gasoline-powered vehicle on the road
can use higher ethanol-gasoline blends

The petroleum oil industry is on a roller coaster ride, a roller-coaster ride that provides no safety belts for the consumers who are being taken on the ride. We're being poisoned, ripped off, and terrorized all at the same time.

Crude oil prices are up, crude oil prices are down. Production is up, production is down. The higher prices go, the more the OPEC terrorists and Russian hoodlums like it, needless to say, because they can't stay in power if they're not getting obnoxiously excessive mark-ups. But the higher the price goes, the 'better' it is for North American light tight oil producers because tar sand and hydraulic fracking oil is only profitable when the price is around $60 per barrel or higher. Consequently, high crude prices hurt OPEC and Russia as much as it might help them.

The problem is that high oil prices are bad for the public and bad for the economies of the non-terrorist countries. And all fuels made from petroleum oil is terrible because it poisons all of us and damages engines. That's right, gasoline (along with benzene, toluene, and xylene aromatics) is what damages engines. These are the causes of carbon deposits that clog engines and fuel systems, and these are the causes of corrosion. Gasoline and aromatics are the problem, not ethanol. Ethanol cleans engines, and ethanol is more compatible with engine parts and components than gasoline and aromatics.

In effect, gasoline is poison to all living creatures and to our most important non-living mechanisms.

All gasoline-powered vehicles on the road and on the water can safely and economically use ethanol-gasoline fuels that contain blend levels that are significantly higher than E10 and E15.

How do I know? Simple, for many decades Great Britain and the rest of Europe successfully used ethanol-gasoline blends - blends that were higher than E10 and E15. And for many decades Brazil has used ethanol-gasoline blends, blends that were higher than E10 and E15. Brazil's standard fuel is E27, and before that it was E25. Virtually every land and water internal combustion engine vehicle sold in North America, Europe and Asia is also sold in Brazil. If they can run safely and economically on E27 in Brazil, they can run on E27 anywhere in South America, North America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.

And within the next few years, Brazil will be mandating E40 as their standard fuel. You don't have to take the OPEC and Russian threats lying down, you can use more ethanol in your vehicles by simply splash-blending your own desired ethanol-gasoline blend level. This means doing some simple mathematic averaging and by pumping some E85 into your tank and then filling with standard E10. Yes, if your vehicle is still under warranty you may not wish to do this, but it's not because it will actually damage your engine. The only reason why manufacturers currently limit their warranties to E10 or E15 in the United States (for example) is because that's all they have to legally warranty. The manufacturers warranty their engines for E27 in Brazil because that's what they have to legally do. It's the same engines, the same fuel systems, the same parts and components.

Using more ethanol will force the price of oil down. It will hit the hoodlums and terrorists where it hurts the most. It'll deprive them of the money they need to make things miserable for the rest of the world. It'll slow the poisoning of our air and water. It'll be a boon to our farmers and domestic economy.

Don't be taken for a ride; instead, take your ride to the cleaner, safer, more powerful, and more economical fuel: ETHANOL.
