Mecum will host its Third Annual Auction at the Kentucky Expo Center September 7-8


WALWORTH, WI – August 31, 2018: Mecum Auctions returns to the Kentucky Exposition Center this Sept. 7-8 for Mecum Louisville 2018 with an estimated 600 American muscle cars, classics, Corvettes, Hot Rods, Resto Mods and more expected to cross the auction block.

Among current auction highlights are a pair of desirable vintage Pontiac GTOs, including a 1970 Ram Air IV (Lot S88) with a matching-numbers drivetrain and a believed-actual 25,000 original miles, as well as a 1967 convertible (Lot S128) boasting a frame-off restoration that accentuates its factory triple-blue, 4-speed originality. Also consigned are a 1969 Plymouth Hemi GTX (Lot S116) that is one of 98 hardtops produced in 1969 with the 4-speed manual transmission, and a 1957 Ford Thunderbird E-Code (Lot S118) comprehensively restored in Colonial White with a stunningly contrasting red interior.

The Ronald J. Hamm Collection of more than 40 classic and collector cars will be offered in its entirety at no reserve on Saturday, Sept. 8. The collection includes an array of classics from the ‘50s and ‘60s as well as vehicles ranging from a 1931 Ford Model A Roadster (Lot S96) to a 1989 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur (Lot S95) and a 1965 Chevrolet C20 Wrecker (Lot S106.1).

Mecum Louisville 2018 is open to buyers, sellers and spectators. Bidder registration is available online in advance for $100, $200 after Sept. 6, and includes admission for two persons to both auction days. General admission tickets are available in advance online for $20 per person, per day, and for $30 at the door and online after Sept. 6; children 12 and younger receive complimentary admission. Doors open daily at 8 a.m. with the vehicle auction beginning at 10 a.m. Mecum Louisville 2018 will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network for more than 12 hours with a live stream of the entire auction presented at Mecum.com.
