Meet the New Auburn Cord Museum Director at Cars & Coffee

(AUBURN) - Cars & Coffee, sponsored by RM Auctions, is Saturday, August 18 in the Education & Exhibit Plaza at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum, 1600 Wayne Street, Auburn, IN 46706. The plaza is a great spot to show off your favorite car, see other automobiles, and share in the camaraderie of car lovers.

Cars & Coffee takes place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and is FREE. Open to all vehicles: classic, exotic, muscle, and favorite cars. Drive your car and park in the Education & Exhibit Plaza to show it off and share it with the public or just stop by to see some excellent classics, hot rods, and other special cars. Enjoy coffee donated by Jeremiah's Brewed Awakenings and donuts provided by Tom's Donuts of Auburn. Meet the new museum Executive Director & CEO, Brandon J. Anderson.

"We are looking forward to having Brandon lead our museum," said Herb Horrom, Chair of Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum's Board of Trustees. "After an extensive national search, it was very clear that his expertise, energy, and passion for historic structures and his vision for inventive programs and creative audience-building strategies would inspire the Board of Trustees and staff as we enter the next phase of Museum's growth."

Anderson received his B.F.A. in historic preservation and architectural history at the Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, Georgia. He earned a Master's degree in Museum studies from the University of Oklahoma. His professional resume includes working at the History Museum in South Bend, Indiana, Tryon Palace in New Bern, North Carolina, and the Edison and Ford Winter Estates in Fort Myers, Florida. "Museums are my life and my love. This is all I'll ever do professionally," he said.

The Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum - where the world's finest cars of yesterday live today!
