PortsToronto Invites You to Opening Night of Sixth Annual Sail-In Cinema™

TORONTO, Aug. 17, 2016 /CNW/ - Media are invited to Sugar Beach on Thursday, August 18 for the opening night of PortsToronto's Sail-In Cinema – Toronto's only outdoor floating film event.

WHAT:	For the community's enjoyment, PortsToronto's Sail-In Cinema will once again present the world's first two-sided movie experience in Toronto's harbour. With this year's theme of "Books to Big Screen," audiences will have the opportunity to experience – or re-experience – their favourite stories from land or water, on a four-story floating screen anchored in Lake Ontario. This year's free event promises a truly memorable cinematic experience with custom configured audio and cinema-quality digital projectors.

WHEN:	Thursday, August 18, 2016
	Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. for a full program of pre-film fun for all ages, including giveaways, entertainment and treats that will once again be offered by Sail-In Cinema sponsors.
	*Movie screening will begin at approximately 8:00 p.m. (Thursday evening's movie is Hook.)*
