LISBON, PORTUGAL - The US and Europe’s leading auto industry leaders and experts will gather at Web Summit from 8-10 November in Lisbon, Portugal, to showcase the impact of disruptive innovation on the auto industry.

This year’s automotive track at Web Summit is expanding to reflect the increasing pace of disruption in the auto industry, especially in the area of autonomous cars, and will serve as a forum for the world's leading car manufacturers to explore the growing number of tech related challenges in the industry.

    Globally, disruption in the area of shared mobility and fully autonomous cars is expected to increase revenues by 30%, adding $1.5 trillion to the auto industry. By 2030, 15% of vehicles sold are expected to be fully autonomous vehicles with a further 10% being a shared vehicle[1].
