A-MAX Auto Insurance Kicks Off 100 Days of Giving in Celebration of its 100th Office Opening

DALLAS, July 15, 2016 -- To celebrate its 100th office opening, A-MAX Auto Insurance today kicked off "A-MAX 100 Offices Strong" with a statewide 100 Days of Giving food drive at each of its office locations. A-MAX will match $1 for every food item donated and give up to $10,000 to Feeding Texas. The food donated will be given to local food banks throughout Texas, and the funds donated to Feeding Texas will further support food banks around the state.

"We want to thank the customers and communities that have helped us become 100 Offices Strong by giving back," said Irshad Meherally, Director at A-MAX Auto Insurance. "We are proud to support Feeding Texas, and food banks throughout Texas, and appreciate their partnership. Our 100 locations across the state make it easy to drop off non-perishable food items so that residents can make a difference in the fight against hunger. Please join us to make a difference!"

Anyone may bring non-perishable food donations to A-MAX locations through October 22nd. The items most requested include canned meats, peanut butter (no glass jars), boxed pastas, boxed or canned soups, canned fruit, canned vegetables, dried beans, cereal, rice, and boxed or canned juice. A-MAX locations are in the following cities and surrounding areas: Abilene, Amarillo, Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas/Fort Worth, Denton, El Paso, Houston, Killeen, Lubbock, Odessa/Midland, San Antonio, Temple, Tyler/Longview and Waco.

"Hunger is an urgent problem for every age group, from children to the elderly. Feeding Texas works to support the amazingly impactful programs led by food banks throughout the state, and the generous campaign A-MAX has begun will provide much needed supplies and funds to positively influence all of our programs this year," said Celia Cole, CEO of Feeding Texas.
